I have a print page for my Epson R800 that I use from time to time and I was just looking for something similar for the Pro-100. I don't use color management in software - I try to get the printer to match as closely as possible what I see on the monitor colorwise. Secondly, while not actually trying to calibrate my monitor, I just wanted to compare the printer output to the monitor. Since I don't print a lot, I wanted to occasionally run the color bars to use some ink from each color to try to prevent clogging, although I know this can be accomplished with a nozzle check. Is there a reason you wanted the solid colours? A nozzle check will print them albeit not as solid blocksĪctually, I had two things in mind. Unfortunately that would never work - If you want the pure colour inks then no normal print method will produce that.Įven if it did, matching colours up against your monitor doesn't actually achieve anything. tif file that I could just print out to check the colors against my monitor. I had the computer and printer make a cold reboot individually. I have ran SFC /scannnow and the system found no errors in the system's integrity. I've also gone under C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and deleted files that were sitting in the folder. I've restarted the printer spooling service. In all these instances, the same behavior continues. Under the printer properties, under the "Advanced" tab, I had the print job print directly to the printer. I played with the way the computer handles printer spooling. I also checked to make sure that the computer the printer needs to be connected to was update to date as far as the OS. I also connected the printer to another computer and the printer will print just about anything. I attempted to uninstall and re-install the printer drivers for the printer, but the printer would continue the same behavior afterwards. However I went into Printers and Devices under the Windows start menu, into printer properties, and print a test page, the test page would print out successfully. However, the print job would then leave queue (I'm thinking the computer sees it as completed) and the printer would never actually print anything. By stir, I mean, it would seem to prepare itself to print. Using Google Cloud Print It takes a long time before printing starts. If I attempt to print something like a web page or a word document, the print job will show up in the print queue and the printer would stir. If you cannot print a test page, check the following according to your environment. It's connected via USB to a desktop running Windows 7 Enterprise 圆4. I'm dealing with an HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One printer.
